Limassol Art Walks: four stops for the opening weekend

Limassol Art Walks returns for its fifth edition on 9–11 October 2026, with free admission to its exhibitions and events. The shared exhibition hours are Friday 17:00–21:00 and Saturday and Sunday 11:00–18:00. We would start with four addresses rather than attempt every participating space. The selection below gives you a useful way into the programme, while leaving room for a conversation or an unexpected discovery.

Begin at eins and the Old Vinegar Factory

At eins, 28 Themidos Street, Alexandros Pissourios presents On Second Thoughts. The gallery dates the exhibition from 9 October to 15 December, so this is an opening-weekend visit to a show you can also return to later. Then consider the Center of Performing Art MITOS at Xydadiko, the Old Vinegar Factory, at 43 Genethliou Mitella. Its listed project is o Σινεμάς / the Cinema. Save both exact addresses: knowing a venue's familiar name is less useful when you are finding an unfamiliar entrance.

Add two stops around Ellados

The programme places Tamara Al-Samarraei's Love Story at MeMeraki Artist Residency, 91A Ellados Street. At NeMe Arts Centre, on the corner of Ellados and Enoseos, Power Lines examines the effects of the energy transition on places and communities. It gives this part of the visit a specific question to explore: what does changing our energy system mean for the people living beside it? Keep the exhibition titles alongside the addresses on your phone. They help you identify the right project when a venue has more than one activity or shares a building with another organisation.

Use the festival hours, then check your chosen stop

The shared timetable makes the weekend convenient, but it should not be confused with a gallery's normal hours. eins also publishes its regular weekly opening times, which differ from the Art Walks schedule. There is another detail for anyone adding Pylon Art & Culture: its own website dates Tracing Angel's Men from 10 October, although the venue appears in the festival list. For that exhibition, plan a Saturday or Sunday visit and confirm directly if you intend to go on Friday.

Leave room for the work

Our four-stop selection is a starting plan, not a guided tour or a timed walking route. Pick two essential stops before you set out and keep the others optional. If a work catches your attention, ask whether an exhibition text is available and whether photography is permitted. That is more useful than moving on simply to complete the list. For a wheelchair or pushchair visit, ask each venue about its entrance and internal access; a common festival timetable does not establish a common level of accessibility.

    Check scheduled events separately

Art Walks also includes screenings and performances. Use the organiser's full programme for any activity with a fixed start, and check the language where speech or subtitles are central to the experience. Our route covers exhibition addresses only. The event's free admission makes it possible to leave some choices open, but a performance still needs its own place in your afternoon. Save the official programme before setting off.
