The fifth Limassol International Book Fair takes place at the Lanitis Carob Mill Complex on 20–22 November 2026. This year's useful change is the full opening of exhibition stands and event stages from Friday morning. Published hours are 10:00–20:00 on all three days, and the organiser announces free admission. For readers arranging work or family plans, Friday is now a proper option for browsing and events, rather than a day to disregard automatically.

What the 2026 announcement includes

The organiser's Agenda 2026 describes six thematic stages and more than 110 exhibitors and book stands. It anticipates over 100 events, with authors and speakers from Cyprus and abroad. That scale is a reason to make a selection before you arrive. A reader looking for a discussion has a different afternoon ahead from someone buying books for children or comparing new releases. We would choose one reason for going first, then build the rest of the visit around it.

Check the year on any programme you download

There is an important distinction between the new announcement and the timetable links. When we checked on 9 October, the General Fair page carried an Agenda 2026 introduction, but its programme links still referred to earlier editions. Use the current announcement for dates and opening hours; do not carry an old author's appearance or workshop time into this year's diary. Before committing to a particular day, look for a programme explicitly dated 20–22 November 2026.

Match the language to the visit

The announcement includes international participants and activities for different ages. Neither detail establishes the language of every session. For an English-speaking or Russian-speaking household, check the description of the individual discussion or workshop before choosing it. Ask exhibitors about editions in your preferred language separately from the stage programme. For children, establish the recommended age and whether an accompanying adult is needed. These checks matter more than selecting a session solely because its title sounds familiar.

Find the complex, then your room

The Lanitis Carob Mill Complex sits between Limassol's medieval castle and the marina. Its owner describes a mixed site containing the Carob Mill Museum, event halls and restaurants. Use the complex as your destination, then consult the fair's own layout for the right entrance and stage. A booking or direction for a restaurant in the complex is not automatically a direction to a talk. If you need step-free access, ask about the particular room you plan to use.

Give browsing its own time

Once the dated timetable is available, reserve a slot for one discussion and a separate stretch for looking through books. Bring a short list of authors or subjects, with room for one recommendation from a bookseller. Free admission does not cover purchases, so set your book budget before the first stand. If a workshop later requires registration, follow that event's instructions. For now, save the three dates; choose the detailed itinerary when the current session schedule is available.
